As a result of our continous growth, we are seeking to employ a Senior Oversight Officer to join our Network Management Team.
Main duties of the role:
Education & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Business, Finance or Risk Management;
• Minimum three years of experience in the Maltese financial services industry;
• A good understanding of the EU Financial services regulations is considered an asset;
• Hands on experience in third-party risk management, data protection and DORA will be considered an asset;
• Strong command of written and verbal English;
• Strong analytical and communication skills;
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects in parallel;
• Self-driven, team player with strong interpersonal skills.

As a result of our continous growth, we are seeking to employ a Senior Oversight Officer to join our Network Management Team.
Main duties of the role:
- Handle due diligence exercises performed on the Bank by its service providers, customers and relevant parties;
- Perform third-party compliance and assessments (due diligence and risk assessments) in line with the Bank’s third-party risk strategy, review responses and supporting the onboarding process;
- Obtain the necessary approvals for the appointment of third-party service providers and handle the internal governance procedures in liaison with various internal stakeholders;
- Attend meetings between third party service providers and the Bank for observation purposes, specifically to identify any areas that require internal escalation or further assessment;
- Perform ongoing monitoring including external audits or reviews on third party service providers as necessary and in line with Bank’s policy;
- Ensure Third-Party Operational and Digital Operational Resilience;
- Oversee and assist in the reporting process for unauthorized overdrafts and credit facilities;
- Provide support in the preparation of monthly credit reviews and credit proposals and ensure their timely completion and reporting to the Credit Review Committee or Board of Directors, as applicable;
- Preparation of agreements and other necessary paperwork related to Credit facilities;
- Set up of credit products in the core banking system and quarterly update of debit interest rate;
- Annual review of loans and bank guarantees and renewal of overdraft facilities;
- Internal and external communications relevant to the Bank’s credit products;
- Assist with audit requests, compliance reviews, preparation of the department’s risk register and other internal and external regulatory requests.
