Sparkasse Bank Malta plc – the first credit institution in the EU to be approved as a Validation Agent for LEI

On the 11^th of November, the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) announced Sparkasse Bank Malta plc as the new Validation Agent within the Global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) System.  Sparkasse has therefore launched its LEI management service which supports legal entities with the issue, renewal and transfer of an LEI.
